The Manila Improv Fest 2026 is a celebration of SHOWING UP: where improvisers, performers, and curious first-timers come together to create something unrepeatable in real time through shows, workshops, and shared play.
This year, we RISE TO THE MOMENT: from sharp comedy and bold storytelling to fearless musicality and ensemble magic, you’ll watch (and maybe even join) artists build worlds on the spot. Come laugh, learn, and live fully in the now, because the moment is the whole point.
Festival Theme
This year, we explore what it means to rise to the moment,TOGETHER.
Improv asks something simple and brave: show up. Not perfectly. Not prepared. Just present. Because the moment doesn’t wait for confidence, or the “right” version of you. It arrives anyway…. It’s messy, funny, tender, unexpected, and it is inviting you to respond.
In a world that trains us to hesitate, to curate, to stay safe, we choose the opposite. We choose to listen harder, to say yes more, to trust our partners, and to build something real out of what’s right in front of us.
This year, we rise to the moment Not with certainty, but with courage. Not alone, but together.
